01 / FOUNDATION
Rooted in Scripture
Structured biblical and theological study helps volunteers and future leaders deepen their understanding and serve with greater confidence.
For pastors and church leaders
Equip leaders.
Strengthen your church.
River City comes alongside pastors and local churches with biblical education, leadership development, and practical ministry preparation.
A shared mission
Your church.
Your people.
A stronger foundation.
Your church remains the center of leadership development. River City supports your pastor’s vision and the discipleship already happening in your congregation.
Together, we can help emerging leaders grow in Scripture, gain confidence, and put their learning into practice through ministry in their home church.

02 / DEVELOPMENT
Prepared to lead
Leadership courses connect biblical principles with communication, collaboration, pastoral care, and the responsibilities of ministry.
03 / PRACTICE
Learning in your church
Church-based practicums give students opportunities to learn alongside pastors and trusted leaders within the vision of their home church.
Extend your training capacity without having to create and staff a Bible school in-house.
Five ways to partner
Find a way to serve together.
Every church can participate in a way that fits its mission and capacity.
- Recommend & send. Help staff, volunteers, and emerging leaders explore individual courses or a certificate pathway.
- Share the opportunity. Include River City in announcements, newsletters, and leadership development conversations.
- Teach & mentor. Explore opportunities for qualified pastors and ministry leaders to teach, mentor, or support practical learning.
- Create ministry connections. Offer meaningful local church ministry opportunities, subject to practicum requirements.
- Invest in the mission. Support River City through prayer and financial partnership.
A practical pathway
From biblical foundations to ministry practice.
Students may take individual courses or work toward two certificate milestones. Coursework is paired with ministry practicums in the local church.
River City has articulation relationships with Southeastern University and SUM Bible College and Theological Seminary. Credit transfer and eligibility are determined by the receiving institution. River City is not institutionally accredited and does not issue degrees.
